Collaborative Council of the Redwood Empire | Sonoma County

About CCRE

The Collaborative Council of the Redwood Empire (CCRE) is a group of professionals interested in avoiding court battles and power struggles to resolve conflicts. Our group is a multi-disciplinary, multi-field group open to all professionals interested in Collaborative conflict resolution.

Our mission is to educate the public about Collaborative Practice, to advance excellence in Collaborative Practice among our members, and to work together in multi-disciplinary teams to help people resolve disputes peacefully, respectfully, and out of court

The group includes family law attorneys; civil/business/real estate/probate/estate planning attorneys; mental health practitioners; neutral financial professionals; and other types of experts that may be involved in a Collaborative conflict resolution process. Monthly meetings provide an opportunity to learn more about Collaborative Practice as well as to become better acquainted with other Collaborative professionals. CCRE provides additional training and continuing education. Members of CCRE are involved in the coordination of public education projects related to Collaborative Practice.

Although we are primarily located in Sonoma and Napa Counties our members include professionals from throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

We are committed to the Collaborative Process, an approach to solving problems by reaching mutually agreeable solutions. Clients and professionals work together, respectfully and in good faith, to gather the information needed to reach an agreement. The goal is a win/win situation for all.
